CZYM JEST KONFERENCJA

Tak Brzmi Miasto konferencja i festiwal to największe pod względem programu merytorycznego (ponad 30 paneli dyskusyjnych, warsztatów, wykładów) wydarzenie tego typu w Polsce, posiadające jednocześnie maksymalnie kameralny charakter (do 200 uczestników konferencji oraz 300 festiwalu). Skierowane jest do młodej branży muzycznej - muzyków, menedżerów, organizatorów wydarzeń i festiwali, pracowników firm fonograficznych, dziennikarzy muzycznych. Od 2013 r. spotykamy się po to by rozmawiać, uczyć się od uznanych specjalistów, spotykać nowych ludzi. Jako prelegentów gościliśmy jak dotąd ponad 150 specjalistów z 27 krajów.

W trakcie części festiwalowej prezentujemy wschodzące zespoły z Krakowa oraz miast programu Tak Brzmi Miasto Inkubator. Zagrali u nas m.in. Patrick the Pan, Hańba!, Disperse, Cheap Tobacco, Kraków Street Band, Besides. Wielu z nich z sukcesami kontynuuje kariery na międzynarodowych scenach.

PRZ»SZŁOŚĆ - konferencja ludzi muzyki

Nowa rzeczywistość, nowe realia - czy to oznacza także nową branżę muzyczną? Czy nowe może oznaczać lepsze? Jak poradzą sobie najwięksi gracze - wytwórnie, producenci i stowarzyszenia, jak w tym świecie odnajdzie się niezależny artysta? Czy odbiorca potrzebuje kolejnego darmowego koncertu w sieci? Za co skłonny jest zapłacić? W końcu… artysta też człowiek.

O wyzwaniach i szansach cyfryzacji, o możliwościach zarobkowania w sieci, czy narzędziach, które mogą temu służyć. O zmianach, które warto śledzić i artystach, którzy - choć nieświadomi, jak wszyscy - byli gotowi na kryzys. Konferencja o przyszłości artysty i menedżera. Tak Brzmi Miasto o przyszłości muzyki.

He has produced albums, recorded and collaborated with Brodka, The Car is On Fire, Marcin Rozynek, Małgorzata Ostrowska, Fiolka, Misia Ff, T.Love, Justyna Steczkowska, Grzegorz z Ciechowa, Magnificent Muttley, 8 lat w Tybecie and others. Founder and co-founder of the Otwarta Scena foundation, dedicated to recording and promoting LIVE video sessions for interesting young artists. To date, the foundation has produced around 120 recordings for over 40 artists. At the Tak Brzmi Miasto Incubator, Leszek supported the participants especially on topics such as music production and the collaboration between band, label and producer.

In 2019 it was extended with a 4 year program Tak Brzmi Miasto Inkubator, which took place in 12 cities and reached 500+ participants. An active musician, manager and a leader for a rock trio Cinemon, where he's responsible for the proverbial "everything" - starting with songwriting, playing guitar and singing, through production, mix, booking, promotion and releases.

Anca Lupes is one of the most experienced professionals in the Romanian music business. During her career she has worked in almost all areas of the industry: media (press, radio, television), concert organisation, record labels, music publishing, management and booking. In 2006 she started teaching music business in Romania. In 2009, she became the first Romanian music industry professional to graduate from the Master in Music Business Programe from Berkelee College of Music (Boston, USA). In 2016, she started organising Mastering The Music Business, the first music conference in Romania.

On the one hand - an academic teacher (Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski University in Krakow), a doctor of humanities, media expert, music media researcher, journalism, music press, charts and everything what is related with music in pop culture. On the other hand - the creator and editor-in-chief of the muzobar.com, through which he tries to support young Polish music scene (with words and official recommendations). On muzobar I write about concerts and festival events (Tak Brzmi Miasto, FAME, Soundedit, OFF, Colours, Cala Mijas, INmusic), and I interview Polish and foreign artists. I’m interested in Polish internet radio projects, festival culture and music journalism, about which I like to write (mainly) scientifically. Co-organizer of the former conference "Media-Journalism-Music", a regular participant of the Krakow Metal Studies, Cultures of Popular Music, and Unisono conference. In the past I have published in the Krakow cultural and scientific quarterly "Splot", most recently in "Lizard" magazine, as well as on the portals independent.pl and apop.pl. I’ve cooperated with the PMMI Foundation (The Polish Modern Music Institute). In private: an eternal "collector" of CDs, vinyls, and old music magazines.

Iryna is also a co-founder of a Ukrainian music community Porichka, sound producer and an artist. She has been attending a range of conferences and showcases as a delegate in the past two years: The Great Escape (UK), Eurosonic (the Netherlands), Tallinn Music Week (Estonia), SHARPE (Slovakia), Reeperbahn (Germany), MMB (Romania), SPIKE (Bulgaria), Athens Music Week (Greece) and WOMEX, where she hosted a Ukrainian stand introducing Ukrainian traditional music to international delegates. In 2022-2023 Iryna organised a DIY tour in Europe in 18 countries and 50 cities with her electronic duo Krapka;KOMA to spread awareness about Ukraine. Iryna is passionate about finding new ways to showcase Ukrainian musicians and making Ukrainian music accessible to a broader international audience.

Musicologist and academic teacher at the Institute of Musicology of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. In 2004/2005, he studied at the Sorbonne in Paris. He specialises in the study of popular music, teaching its history at his home university. Author of the popular science book ‘History of Popular Music’ (SBM, Warsaw 2019) - the first attempt by a Polish author to cover this phenomenon. He has participated in many national and international conferences (e.g. UK, Germany, France, Czech Republic, Finland, Spain). Since 2009, he has been a member of IASMP - International Association for the Study of Popular Music. For many years, he has also cooperated in the role of an announcer and programme editor with the Poznań Philharmonic Orchestra and other philharmonics in Poland, as well as with the Poznań composer community.

Since 2020, she has also been co-artistic director of the Warsaw-based interdisciplinary festival Ephemera. In her work, she focuses on the search for innovative forms of artistic expression - primarily in sound art, music and contemporary art, as well as the creation of new forms of cooperation between male and female artists, the improvement of cultural education and the international exchange of ideas and experiences affecting the expansion of intersectional diversity in culture. He is interested in the phenomenon of synesthesia.

He started his career in the student radio Afera in Poznań, after graduation he worked, among others, in the Agora Radio Group, MTV, 4Fun Media, merlin.pl or cdp.pl. In December 2015, he joined Antyradio, as music director; since 2021 he has also held the positions of editor-in-chief and programme director
As a music journalist, he has worked with most of the big Polish portals (Onet, WP, Interia) and music magazines, he has also been involved in concert photography. He is a regular contributor to Teraz Rock magazine. He is also involved in education, conducting workshops and lectures on radio and music promotion on the radio, among others at the Academy of Music Managers, Kozminski University, during the Incubator Tak Brzmi Miasto or in cooperation with the Association of Audio-Video Producers.
He is a member of the Phonographic Academy and a graduate of International Relations (specialisation: Law, Economy and Culture of Europe - European Studies) at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He collects vinyl, loves music, travel and photography.

Graduate of the University of Silesia in Katowice, where she received a master's degree in philosophy, as well as a postgraduate degree in cultural manager at the University of Economics in Katowice. Since 2012 she worked at Katowice City of Gardens - K. Bochenek Institution of Culture) , where she served as Deputy Director responsible for the substantive program of the institution and cooperation with domestic and foreign partners.
She created an innovative program of support for NGOs, which opened up new opportunities for cooperation between the public and private sectors. Together with the team she established in 2015 and of which she was the leader, she wrote the application to the UNESCO Network of Creative Cities, thanks to which Katowice has been included in this network in the field of music since December 2015. She was also responsible for the implementation and execution of the entire program 'Katowice - City of Music'", the foundations of which were included in this very application. In 2015-2016, she worked on the report ""Music Sector Development Policy in Katowice. How to build a resilient, sustainable and thriving music industry"" for Katowice. She authored the winning application for WOMEX'17 - a festival and
world music fair. She was also responsible for the implementation of the event in Katowice. On behalf of Katowice, she was responsible for preparing the application for the annual congress of the Creative Cities Network in 2018, as well as its preparation and implementation. Starting in January 2018, she has served as the chairwoman of the music sub-network within the UCCN structures.
In October 2018, she assumed the position of Deputy Director, and in September 2019, Director of the Music Export Poland Office.
Since January 2019, she has also served as an independent expert of the UNESCO National Commission for Creative Cities in Poland."

Rzeczywistość roku 2020 zmusiła ostatnich zatwardziałych antyfanów sieci i technologii do wskoczenia w digital obiema nogami. Jeśli nie ma Cię w sieci - nie istniejesz - dziś jest to prawdziwsze niż kiedykolwiek wcześniej. Ale co to właściwie oznacza "być w sieci" i jak być w niej "dobrze"?

Uzupełnieniem części konferencyjnej są koncerty zespołów związanych z Tak Brzmi Miasto. W tym roku będziemy prezentować 12 zespołów, które zagrają koncerty on-line wyprodukowane przez krakowski Klub Studio, transmitowane na kanały partnerów w sieci HEMI.
